Legacy Report: Future of Fatherhood

Part 3: State of Fatherhood

 (Full report available here)

As a fatherhood company, we invested in The Future of Fatherhood Report as part of our initiative to raise awareness around men’s health. In the first two sections, we dove into the decline of reproductive health and the cultural bias around fertility. In the final section of the report, we examined what the general public knows about the respective global decline.

Since fertility is largely framed as a female issue and men’s wellness tends to be an afterthought, it should come as no surprise that the alarming decline is not at the forefront of health discourse. In Legacy’s State of Fatherhood Report, we surveyed men and women aged 21-35 to understand the knowledge people have about male fertility.

With a decline that shows no sign of slowing down, our best bet to address infertility is by educating the public and creating the same buzz that has brought IVF and egg freezing to the mainstream. For couples working toward a path to parenthood, the journey starts with a healthy sperm and egg. As a trusted resource for prospective fathers, Legacy provides key health insights in order to help customers continue to build their legacy.
